We're offering for sale a real nice 1961 Studebaker Hawk 2-door. This is a rare rare car because it has a V8 engine, factory stick shift, factory air conditioning, bucket seats and console. This vehicle has 90K actual miles and a clean title, which is in the extra photos on the bottom. It also has two videos of the engine running so there's no doubt you're buying a car with a good engine. We bought the car 3 or 4 years ago and had trouble getting to work on it because we had so many cars we were working on, but over the summer, we started working on the car, put a complete tuneup on it and we had the carborator rebuilt.

It starts well, the clutch is good and it shift gears properly but we never finished the car as far as the brakes and the fuel system. We put in an electric fuel pump and the engine runs great, but that's not the way this car was set up by the factory. It's supposed to work off of a mechanical fuel pump. And we'd also like to mention that it will need a master cylinder because the one on this car is totally shot. They're inexpensive on eBay and the new owner will have to go through the complete braking system because it hasn't been driven on the road for a while. I took pictures of the original interior, which looks fantastic.

The chrome is just okay but it looks good on the car. The paint is exactly what you see in the pictures. It's a great driver and if you want to bring this car up to the next level (because it is a very valuable car), you can. The underneath of the vehicle is very solid, as shown in the pictures. When you personally pick up the car or the shipper picks up the car, they need to know that they need to get it out of my garage and onto your truck because the car has no brakes. I have a lot of extra parts for this car, including the parts that are in the trunk. I don't want any of them. They all come with the car if the new owner wants them. Good luck to all bidders and thank you for reading my ad!

Please call Stan at 216-598-7011 if interested.

THIS IS A NO RESERVE AUCTION: LAST HIGHEST BIDDER WINS CAR.
