Classic Roadrunner 440 CID, 4 Speed manual
1971 Plymouth Road Runner
1971 Plymouth Roadrunner. This Roadrunner coupe started life with a 383 CID V8. The stock engine got kicked to the side of the road and replaced with a solid, rebuilt, 440 CID engine, topped with a Holley 850 CFM. The car has been owned for less than a year, and I bought it from the guy who built it. This motor must run on 108 octane fuel. The muscular engine is backed by a manual 4 speed with a Mopar pistol grip shifter, and the car features air conditioning (not working) and power steering. The black and orange vinyl interior is in excellent condition, with no rips, tears, or defects in the seats, door panels. The pile carpet is in great shape, and the rubber, brightwork, and dashboard are all intact. The dash cap does not have any cracks or distortion. This classic Plymouth sits on old school Dayton Daytona SR #1 tires with virtually no tread wear, mounted on alloy rims. The MOPAR muscle cars of this era are known for their delicate metalwork - prone to dents and deterioration. The original Mopar paint color is Tor Red and this Roadrunner does need paint This Roadrunner is straight and true and no apparent rust. Very rare unmolested 71 Roadrunner.
