1970 Plymouth Barracuda

1970 'CUDA 440-6 AUTOMATIC SHAKER HOOD AXLE PACKAGE IN-VIOLET!
ALL NUMBERS MATCHING
1 of 853 MADE!
This Cuda is the one to restore as it still has the original engine & transmission. Both of the hidden body numbers match the Title, Original Fender Tag, Dash VIN and Door VIN.
The color is FC7 In-Violet with White Bench Seat Interior. It came with dual racing mirrors in chrome, AM/8 Track Stereo and Rallye Instrument Cluster just to name a few options.
This car has sat for a very long time where it was exposed to lots of rodents and moisture. However, miraculously it has solid frame rails, transmission crossmember, inner and outer rockers (some pinholes but repairable), hinge pillars, B pillars, fire wal, upper cowl panel, roof inner structure and upper core support (lower under radiator is rusted out)
DOES NOT RUN AND NEEDS COMPLETE RESTORATION!!!
Major Required Metal Replacement:
- Tail Light Panel (rear body panel)- Rear Valance- Rear Crossmember and Extensions- Trunk Floor and Extensions.- Dutchman Panel- Roof Skin- L&R Outer Quarter Panels- L&R Footwells- Main Floor- L&R Inner Fenders- Shaker Hood

I am not making any guarantees that this will be the only metal replacement that would be required. It's impossible for me see everything until the car is disassembled and chemically dipped. However, this is the AMD parts list I would put together for the car as it sits and I'm pretty confident covers the majority of metal parts.
Engine: The engine is original to the car and never bored. It was stuck very badly when we got it and we had to drill out the pistons to remove them. It comes with the original Prestolite Distributor, 6 Pack Connecting Rods, Crank Shaft, Harmonic Balancer, Timing Cover, Valve Covers, Good 906 heads and Factory HP Exhaust Manifolds.
Three of the cylinders suffered a lot of rust damage and will probably need to be sleeved. I am not sure of this but you should calculate the extra money in your budgeting numbers to replace them. The internal parts are left out of the engine and it's mocked up in place to show that the key parts are all there.
Transmission: This is the original numbers matching automatic transmission (very rare) and converter. The outside of the case looks great and will clean up nicely, but the input shaft doesn't turn so I would plan on a donor transmission for the guts. The main thing is that you have the original transmission case with the numbers on it.
It has the original 956 Radiator, Fan, Clutch and Shroud.
I have pictures of the original shaker hood. It is VERY rusty and there is no bubble or base with this auction. I installed a bulge hood to keep rain out of the engine.
The Rallye Wheels are not factory to the car as they are the later 15x6 1/2. They are in great shape but aren't correct. I don't know what the car had from the factory but I have picture of the car from 1972 with the graduating military class by it. In that photo it shows Rallye Wheels.
I DO NOT HAVE THE BROADCAST SHEET!!
