1985 k20 Silverado pick up

1985 Chevrolet C/K Pickup 2500

Up for Auction is a very rare California original 1985 K20 Silverado, heavily optioned truck! This K20 has been in California, specifically Sacramento area it’s entire life. I am the 3rd owner and have the original purchase paperwork, from 8/3/1985!
This 100% rust free square body is very straight and still holds it’s original paint, which I recently buffed and polished. The body has one small dent in the upper bed rail near the tailgate and some nicks and bruises associated with a nearly 40 year old truck. This truck looks amazing as is, but is the ultimate restoration truck because of it’s minimal body flaws and ZERO rust!
Interior: The interior is all original and has not been replaced with any aftermarket Chinese parts. The dash is cracked beyond repair and will need to be replaced. The original seat fabric is torn and worn, but the seat is not broken down and still is very comfortable to ride in. The door panels and in good shape, and all the power windows and door locks work. The windows are slow as all these square bodies are notorious for. The carpet is original as is the headliner. I removed the sagging material but left the backer board in place.
Electrical: Everything works in the truck. All lights, gauges, fuel gauges, fuel gauge switch (recently replaced), cruise control even works perfectly.
Mechanical: The truck runs excellent. The original owner replaced the factory 350 sometime in the early 2000’s with a chevy crate 350, which has approximately 50-60,000 miles. The mileage on this truck is 164,700 not 64,000 as it listed, eBay would not accept by 6 digit mileage entry.
There is Tremendous power still, great oil pressure and zero engine noise. The truck recently received, plugs, wires, distributor cap and rotor, a/c compressor, ac dryer, carburetor refresh, several vacuum lines replaced, rear and front diffs serviced, all new brakes front and rear (Has the larger 13” rear drums, instead of standard 11”), brake booster.
This truck just recently passed CA smog test, which lets you know how clean and efficient it is running with how stringent CA is. This has true dual exhaust with no cats, which is how it came from the factory.
I just put brand new 285x75x16 tires on this weekend. This truck is a great driver and ready to drive and use.
What it needs…..There is a slight oil leak coming from either oil pan or rear main the best I can tell. It drops about 2-3 drops of oil over night the size of a quarter. The windshield wiper squirters don’t work, and the hood release was recently replaced but could be adjusted better, but it totally works.
Options: This k20 came from the factory with dual front shock option, heavy duty frame, heavy duty radiator, dealer installed Kelsey Hayes trailer brake still functional, 4.10 gears. The truck was leveled at some point with front springs, which gives it the ultimate stance.
If your a square body guy it would be hard to find a cleaner driver, that needs some cosmetics to bring it back all the way.
This truck does not come with a warranty of any kind. I am the owner, and the title is in my name and is a clean clear CA title.
