1948 Packard Victoria

Packard's Dramatic New Design and America's FIrst New All New Post War Convertible. Awarded the "Fashion Car Of The Year Gold Medal by the New York Fashion Academy in 1948. Touted as having Packard's new 'Million Dollar Chassis' due to it's integrity and strength, the unique 'Streamline Moderne' design stunned the automotive community. It was a record year for sales, but only a handfull of convertibles at $4,295 were built with slightly over 3000 units produced.
This beautiful car was restored, on the frame, by the previous owner in the year 2000, with new paint, interior, Haartx convertible top, chrome, etc. It runs as a Packard should, and features Power Top, Power Windows, and Power Seat, and W9 Transmission w/ overdirve for easy highway cruising. It has 5 new General Dual 90 tires (installed last year) and runs smoothly down the road.
I consider it excellent 'driver quality' but most who see it think it's a show car, it does have a few scuffs and nicks here and there. It would make a great Christmas present for a new lucky owner! Come drive her home!
