Description:

1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS

Jerry MacNeish Documented & Certified Having received a professional nut nut-and-bolt, rotisserie, body-off restoration, this 1970 Chevelle LS6 is a stunning automobile that would be just as at home in the country club as the drive-in. Documented with a factory build sheet and Protect-O-Plate, this car has a matching numbers 454/450 HP Turbo-Jet V-8 engine beneath its cowl induction hood. The LS6 was at its most potent in 1970, topped off by a big Holley 4-barrell carb, Winters aluminum intake, 11.5:1 compression, solid-lifter cam and dual exhaust. RPO Z15 (SS 454) added the engine chrome, bright exhaust tips, power front disc brakes, heavy-duty suspension and body blackout grille and tail panel, but the 500 lb-ft of torque LS6 engine was a cost even in addition to that. It is backed by a 4-speed transmission and a 12 bolt differential. Power steering is added to control all that power. This LS6 is finished in its correct Fathom Blue with White stripes and a matched Parchment bucket-seat interior with a center console. Inluded is the original warranty card, original Georgia registration and a documentation binder.
