1953 Hudson Hornet. 308 twin H . 4speed automatic, 57,000 original miles. Very original unmolisted car, properly maintained.

Paint is in good shape.( driver quality ). a few chips and small dings, rate it at 7 out of 10. When the car was repainted the colors were switched, originally the green was on the body and yellow on the roof. ( I think they look better with the darker colored roof and visor ) You can see in the pictures the firewall is still the original green.

Interior is mostly original carpet has been replaced could use a good shampooing, headliner has been replaced and is nice, clean and tight. Seats and door panels are 100% original and in pretty good shape for the age rear cushion has a coffee stain ( pictured ) with a gentle cleaning could look a lot better. I usually put a blanket over the seat cushion to help preserve them while driving and slow the small tear on the driver side ( pictured ) from spreading.

Chrome is original, some pitting, dings and scratching . tires are good. 75-80% life, brakes are new. Runs, stops, shifts and drives well. Never runs hot, vapor-locks or overheats,

The car Needs, misc rubber and weatherstrip replaced, Left door glass is cracked and a little TLC, but that’s it, overall in very usable condition.

I’ve Always run 91, non-ethanol fuel, W/ stabilizer. ( seafoam ) in the car.

We occasionally show the Hudson and take it on cruises, guaranteed to get a ton of attention especially appreciated from those that know the NASCAR winning history of The ( Fabulous) Hudson Hornet and of corse the kids all recognize Doc. The picture of the car with the blue ribbon on it was from a local concours auto show with Ferraris Lamborghinis and mostly exotics and the car still won favorite 50’s car.

I’ve have recently come to the difficult conclusion that I’m ready to sell this wonderful 1953 Hudson Hornet and let someone else own and love the car as we have .
