1967 plymouth gtx, mopar 440
1967 Plymouth GTX
my father passed away approx. 2 years ago so we decided to sell his what he called his pride and joy which he drove in about every parade, took to car show's, he loved this car, not this car but he had purchased one of these new in 1967 for $3700, so car does run and is pretty solid, car has sat in the garage the last two year's, the car is pretty much all original except for the engine it has been replaced with a 440 out of a 1970 gtx, the engine # is F440 HP, the left rear tail light is cracked as seen in pictures, i was surprised most everything works including the radio and cigarette lighter, the carpet is not in very good cond. as seen in pictures also the interior all is very good except for drivers sun visor and drivers seat. this car has sat in my garage the last two year's took it out for a drive today and I felt it the brakes did not stop the car like it should, I googled it and it said the earlier mopars had brake troubles do to the master cylinder, replaced master cylinder and now unable to get all the air out, I'm no mechanic and just want whoever is interested to know. yes the car stops but not like today's car's.
