1938 Coupe Express truck has new:

Running Condition

• The manual brakes work and are typical manual brakes for stopping power.
• The headlights and tail light or stop light are now functional.

Afull passenger side view of the truckrevealed the chrome ring and hubcap is gone.Not so! A spring clip broke off the rim due to age. Clips have been ordered and should arrive the week of 11/5/23.

Exterior

• Paint: Fern green paint applied in its past shows super for daily or local car show use
• Chrome and stainless trim appears to be original
• Expect & see light patina in places
• The trunk bed has been treated with a protective bedliner coating
• The tailgate has a protective coating
• A solid truck bed on a good frame with one minor blemish that is barely noticeable.

Interior

• Door panels appear to be original design & color
• The seat appears to have been recovered in vinyl
• The headliner bows are still in place. The roof is solid!
• Window Glass is good
• Window cranks are ok
• Doors close without issues and do not sag
• The factory Bakelite steering wheel has minor cracking & completely functional
• This dash features full instrumentation with embossed Art Deco font-style numbers and lettering that add some vintage class to this dash.

Issues

• Radiator has a very minor leak. Operates fine as is but be aware of this
• Have NOT driven but 4 miles with the truck! Shifts fine but have NOT nor will not drive at 60 mph

Spares/Extras

• 2 ignition keys in addition to the original key
• Defroster hose – not installed as yet
• New Brake/Clutch pedals (2 sets) not installed as of this listing

Suspension

• Independent with a transverse leaf spring
• Upgraded spring helper assisted rear springs
