Very rare. Only 2150 made mid year. 1949 Cadillac is the first motor trend car of the year. Very first year of the Coupe Deville. First year overhead valve V8.Second year of fins from Cadillac.Rare opportunity.This is NOT the 2 door sedanett or the 61 Series club Coupe.
4 speed automatic(factory) power hydraulic windows and seat. Outside and inside were restored 40 years ago then parked/stored. Original style Broadcloth & Tan Leather seating. Factory Cadillac wire wheel covers from newer year and brand new bias “looking” radial tires w/factory fender skirts. it drives beautifully . New gas tank, brake cylinders, brake lines, 6V battery, rebuilt master cylinder, rebuilt original carburetor, not numbers matching engine. Motor was replaced 50 plus years ago with a year newer motor. A 1950 331 V8 . Running and driving. Runs great and quiet…very smoothly....
Still can use a few items, including windows and seat are not working as the hydro electric motor is out for freshening up.
The brake tail and signals are not working in rear.
Glass- all good but one chip drivers side windshield.
Chrome-very straight, but some pitting
Paint-various scratches and chips but body is straight. The original Elpaso beige.
Rust- surface rust on undercarriage
Exhaust- all new
