The car runs well and tracks straight down the road. All lights work as well as the wipers. The heat works but the factory air conditioning does not. All components are there and the compressor turns freely. I have not investigated this. The rear tailgate window works from the dash switch only and goes up and down slowly. The aftermarket stereo works good and it does not look like the dash was cut. The wagon is equipped with power steering, power brakes, cruise control(not working) roof rack, power tailgate window and third row seat.
The car has had one repaint with rust repair in the 1980s. The front left fender had a large dent which I had repaired last year.I had the frame inspected and one spot professionally welded. The cargo area and spare tire well are rusted and repaired from the inside with fiberglass by the previous owner. Some of the rubber seals on the doors need replacement. The original headliner is in good shape other than a small area near the tailgate window.
I’ve tried to keep the wagon as original as possible and give an accurate description It is not a show car but looks great from ten feet. It always gets thumbs up when I drive it as you do not see these on the road often.
