1978 FORD RANGER XLT SHORT BED TRUCKHas 77 grill and led headlamps, frame off project by Custom Rods in Clinton SC, The 351M engine was rebuilt by Carolina Machine that does race car engines to 325hp and a loopy cam, the transmission is from Monster transmission and is a AOD 4 speed with wide gear ratio that cruises at 70 mph @1800rpm. It has the Cold Case aluminum radiator w dual fans, Dakota instrument panel, Retrosound bluetooth stereo w Kenwood sub behind the seat, seat is by TMI and sits wonderful. 15" BFG on Ford wheels, Corsa exhaust ( i added resonators because it was too loud for me). Painted Ford colors Wimbledon white and Pinto Yellow. Only driven 700 miles since restored. New oil changed and tune 2 weeks ago. All sheet metal is original except for the tailgate. This is a great classic truck and a fun project that took me 3 years to get it on the road but I'm moving and cant take it with me. Look on youtube "1978 F100 start up 10/2023' for video.
