Complete Running Barracuda Project Needs Restored
1971 Plymouth Barracuda
HARD TO FIND COMPLETE 1971 BARRACUDA THAT RUNS AND DRIVES.
Original 318 with Automatic on the column, power steering and power brakes with 8 3/4. This car runs really well and will drive around the lot for loading purposes but is NOT a daily driver without work.
The grille is very nice with minor, repairable cracks. Dash assembly with VIN are complete and OE. Original fender tag is present and all numbers match.
This car is coded for the J54 sport hood option which is very rare on non BS Cuda models and appears to be original.
Seats are complete and original and all of the hard to find trim is present and restorable.
Rust panels that need replaced are:
Main Floor, R&L Step Wells, Trunk Floor and Extensions, Rear Body Panel (could be sectioned), L&R Outer Quarters and Dutchman.
FRAME rails, transmission crossmember, rockers, wheelhouses, aprons, firewall are very solid with just minor repairs needed. The right fender could be repaired easily, the left fender would take a lot of work and would be more efficient with a new one from AMD.
I am doing my best to report what I have found on this car in the way of damage but since it's not stripped to bare metal, I make no guarantees.
This is a great, great project for someone and would make a killer tribute Hemi Cuda, 440-6 Cuda, etc.
But it as is or make a deal with me to build your dream Cuda...this is the one to do it with. (restoration is NOT included in this auction.
