1970 SAMCO Cord Warrior
SAMCO (Sports Automobile Manufacturing Company) was established in Tulsa, Oklahoma, by Bill Lear of Learjet fame, in the late 1960's. His plan was to offer two distinct Cord models, the Royale and the Warrior. His intent was not to offer these in high volume or to sell these cars in kit form. Each car was hand-built ah his factory. Approximately 400 SAMCO Cords were produced and found their way to our roads.
This 1970 SAMCO Cord Warrior is stripped down to the E coat and ready to prime. The car is powered by its Ford 302 V8, C4 automatic transmission and rear wheel drive. New Heavy duty3 core radiator and electric cooling fan, Wilwood Master cylinder and custom stainless steel headers and exhaust system. Runs a drives great. A fun little sports car. It gets lots of looks everywhere you go!
I’m unable to finish this project and would like to see this go to someone who can take over.
Bumpers, grille, soft top, side windows included.
