Vehicle Details

The car is finished in red over red leather upholstery and features Vintage Air climate control, a black-striped stinger-style hood, electronic ignition, a high-torque starter, a custom wiring harness, 15″ Rally wheels, BFGoodrich redline tires, power four-wheel disc brakes, a Hurst shifter, and a retro-style stereo with Bluetooth capability. The car was acquired by the seller in 2016, and work since 2021 has included replacing the steering rag joint, servicing the air conditioning, and adjusting the shifter linkage and carburetor. The fiberglass body is finished in red and is said to have been repainted in approximately 2013. Features include a black-striped stinger hood, a wider rear tail section, chrome bumperettes, concealed headlights, fender vents, polished rocker moldings, a center-mounted reverse light, and a dual outlet exhaust that exits through the rear valance. Exterior trim components are said to have been re-chromed during the refurbishment. Chips and scratches in the paint are shown in the gallery. The 15″ Rally wheels wear chrome trim rings and center caps and are mounted with BFGoodrich Silvertown Radial redline tires. Braking is handled by power-assisted discs at all four corners. The steering rag joint is said to have been replaced in 2021. The cabin features bucket seats upholstered in red leather. An analog clock is mounted in the center stack, and additional equipment includes Vintage Air climate control, a Hurst shifter, retractable lap belts, an Optima battery, and a retro-style stereo with Bluetooth capability. Sound and heat insulation was installed on the floor, firewall, and rear panels. The air conditioning was serviced, a wiring repair was performed, and the door locks are said to have been adjusted since 2021. The seller notes that there are some screws missing on the center shifter cover and the two upper control knobs are disconnected. The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges for amperage, water temperature, oil pressure, and fuel level. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 18k miles, approximately 2k of which were added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown. The replacement 327ci V8 is said to have been installed during the refurbishment and features an aluminum intake manifold, a four-barrel carburetor, electronic ignition, a high-torque starter motor, and Corvette-script valve covers. The carburetor was adjusted in 2022. Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a replacement Muncie four-speed manual transmission. The chassis is said to have been stripped and powder coated during the refurbishment, and the shifter linkage was adjusted in 2023. A dual exhaust system with Xlerator Turbo mufflers has been installed.
