This is a full frame off restored international Scout II that is as close to buying one brand new from the factory with all the upgrade they never had then but we have access to now.

1979 Scout II

This truck have been taken down to the frame and everything on it is brand new, refurbished or replaced. It’s have heat and ac and is ready to 4x4 any where with style and comfort. The inside cab is well insulated including the removable top to keep you Kool in the summers and Warm in the winter. I have a huge build binder on this scout that will come with the truck. Please read below for a list of all that is done.

Paint and body

New quarters, floors, and rockers the paint is a beautiful Grey called “Area 51” inside and out cab floors have been professionally rhino lined so the truck will stay rust free for the rest of its life. Bumpers are hand made by master tech George with a 9,500 lb winch with remote control.

Engine, trans and drive train

5.3 engine out of a 2014 suburban totally rebuilt and resealed all new gaskets. Trans is a 4l80E with 4x4 also completely gone thru and resealed. New axles front and rear with 3.73 spicer gears this baby gets up and goes all while still getting 20+ miles to galllon. Also has a hitch and wire ready to plug in that boat or bike trailer and hit the roads.

Wheels and tires

We went with 20 inch Fuel wheels and 33 inch by 12.5 wide Yokohama mud tires. There is of course a full size spare and a custom one off spare tire holder than can adjust to hold up to a 40 inch tire. It’s all powder coated anything you see on this truck bumpers handles battery tray all powder coated not paint.

Roof and roof rack

Roof rack was hand build and it one of a kind it can hold anything you want to stick on top of it, it can also be used to lift the top off when you are removing the top for summer. It’s fully insulated and the factory glass is tinted.

Interior

The dash, door panels, seats, inner top panels are all stitched with beautiful waterproof material that look and feel like leather but hood up much better. Floors have drains in the with flat rubber pugs. So you could literally hoes the entire interior out if you so desired or needed to. Roll bar is hand build and has a very cool blue tooth sound bar/light on it and you can change the color to anything you want and it has a remote. 3 light up swithes on the dash, one is for the winch the other 2 are if you wanted to add KC lights or something else. Brand new beautiful start of the art gauges. Tuffy locker that we stripped and powder coated because tuff does not do that great of a job on powder and I am very particular.
