1949 Chevrolet Styleline (Bel Air) Convertible. Award winning professionally built custom. Finished in Crystal Red metallic paint with custom white interior and top with custom pinstriping. a rebuilt and upgraded 261ci inline 6cyl engine with a Fenton split exhaust manifold, Clifford performance intake, dual electric fans and an update 12 volt wiring system. Updated 5 speed manual transmission, updated Mustang II style front suspension with tubular a-arms, steering stabilizer, front disc brakes with slotted and crossed drilled rotors and an electric UniSteer Performance power assisted rank & pinion power steering system. Other options include: Power top, aftermarket tilt wheel with custom Impala steering wheel, front and rear sway bar, lowered suspension, wide white wall tires with 1957 Cadillac hubcaps, fender skits, shaved doors and trunk with electric poppers, Am radio, heater, frenched antenna, frenched headlights, LED tail lights, finished truck area and a highly detailed engine bay. New chrome, weather stripping, glass, interior, top, paint etc. way to much to list!
Just about everything is new and the quality shows throughout the build! It has a iconic 50's style custom appearance with modern upgrades for safety and reliability. This was a 1 owner rust free Colorado car until 2013 when it was purchased and transformed into the award winning cruiser you see before you over the next 3 year.
