for sale number matching all orginal holy grail  1978 y82 w72 se hurst ttops bandit trans am .it is a one owner 90 percent orginal paint  survivor car that had been sitting collecting dust for years before I obtained it In Oklahoma.....however car is a project and will need some work before being a driver .it does run and drive great the carb has been rebuilt i do also still have the original number correct carb that  goes on the car it isnt rebuildable im told but the carb on it is a pontiac rochester qjet freshly built .engine doesnt wet the floor at shop.but im sure it has a seep or 2 since it is 45 year old drivetrain but valve cover gaskets are new. the car still retains it factory vaccum hoses, plug wires even still has the factory catalytic converter in great shape still on the car .... all the ac system is still in place and the compressor still holds freon although i havent tried to get ac going.it has new cooper tires and  it drives good and shifts good doesnt run hot. ive not made any long trips with it but just short trips up road .the main issue with drivetrain is once its warmed up it starts smoking some  but no smoke when cold so not sure what that would be may just need running since it sat for many years untouched .it does have new front brakes and hoses calipers .so.it stops fine .all the lights work  horn works power windows work power trunk release works interior lights work radio seems to come.on but no sound so unsure of that .interior is all orginal black lambrody with deluxe panels door panels are pretty wavy and will need to be replaced for show . seats are fine for a driver the dash has a wave or two at top but someone at some point has broken a corner off down by radio so dash will need fixing .carpet is shot but it still has the orginal factory gm floor mats ! the car is very structurally solid but will need some minor sheet metal work .the floor pans were your feet go have holes from leaking ttops.and the rear seat pans on one side has some rust .the rear quarters look pretty good maybe one small  spot on passenger  side up near well opening the drivers side  has been dented in some behind rear wheel but  can be popped back out and looks pretty solid.drivers side  inner trunk drop has a bad spot but passenger is good the inner tail pan panel is solid as well as the outer taillight panel is solid trunk openings super nice and trunk and hood look perfect .doors look very solid  on both sides at bottoms front fenders are very solid no rust .cowl is solid as well as rockers .the car is really worthy of frame off restore and will make a 6 figure car if done correct with its rarety and options ....let.me know if need any more pics I have alot .I have a set price in mind it would take for me to let the car go  message me and we'll talk .cash in person is my preference any questions feel free to .ask any serious buyers are welcome to check car out in person or if sending a third party I will be avaliable to show it .car is for sale locally so could sell anytime .I do have the complete phs email packet I can foward serious buyers to show the car is authentic car still has it orginal selling dealers emblem on the rear spoiler still that matches the phs hows that for original!.if car doesn't sell I will be getting the floors fixed and price will go up alot .....happy bidding !!      I do have the phs window sticker laminated as well.
