Here is your chance to own this ultra rare blast from the past Ford Escort. Awesome red exterior / red interior. Second owner. 53,872 original miles. New parts include:
Factory original carburetor.
Factory original distributor.
Tune up (plugs, wires, cap, rotor).
A recent compression test found low compression in the cylinder closest to the distributor. All other cylinders are good. The old man I bought it from also had a shop replace the distributor, but they failed to install the gasket. I’m thinking this caused a massive oil leak and led to this cylinder failing. Car starts up but won’t idle on its own. The distributor is now fitted with a proper gasket. Brakes and clutch feel good. The tires seem ok. The passenger side suspension has a failed bushing that needs to be replaced. Fuel gauge not working. Carpet has typical wear under driver’s side floor mat. Driver’s seat has typical wear under seat cover.
