1973 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic

Volkswagen Beetle - I have owned this nice little car for 15 plus years. Previously spent much of its life towed behind a motor home. The last 10 years it has been my fun little San Felipe Baja Town Car running a 120 horse power built 1915 engine behind a bus transmission. Last year I needed the bus trans for one of my S Felipe Dune Buggy's. I brought the car back to Oregon to install the original stock 1600. Car comes with both motors as well as the original stock transmission. You install your choice original 60 horse or a built 100 horse + and still have an extra engine.
At any rate after sending car to body shop for nice shiny base coat/clear coat refinish job my mechanic and I could not agree which engine to run. I wanted original stock he wanted the built 1915. Any way my mechanic retired and I am old and have many projects to do and if I finish this one one I will want to keep it. And I certainly do not need anymore cars. But this is a valuable soon to be more so Classic Investment!
