Volkswagen Dune Buggy. El Lobo Body Style on 1965 VW Beetle chassis VIN 115500284 with 1600 cc Rebuilt engine that has only 3 miles on it New Clutc, New Empi Carbs, New Brakes, New wheels and New tires and paint. I purchased it in 2014 form the guy who rebuilt it and I didn't get around to finishing what I wanted it to have. The only things I know that need attention ar, it needs a new battery, The throttle cable sticks every once in a while ( i believe near the pedal, The drift/parking brake handles are not connected, the car originally had a stinger exhaust that came up through the body that he converted to the one you see. the hole was filled with fiberglass which has small cracks around it (see Photo). I was going to just cover it with a 6" VW sticker. It has been in my garage since 2014 the short video of it running was just recorded a week ago when i took all of the photos. I just hooked up a jump pack and it started right up. It has a 4 speed Manual Transmission . The seats could use new covers (the grey has some stains and cracks ) or you can convert them to better cushioned seats and it could use new carpeting. I was going to remove all of the busy gauges and install a VW Beetle multi gauge to make it look more clean (that is just a preference though) and I would want the wiring cleaned up. I will include all random parts I have for it (including the speedometer) .
