Rare to see a 1981 Ford Econoline half ton 4x4 Chateau club cab van family owned. 351 W V8 with only 38k original miles, automatic C6 trans, was mainly only used at a family vacation home, that's why the miles are so low. Runs and drives well, Starts right up. No smoking. needs time to warm up sometimes because it sat intermittently for a little while. It has a new carburetor. new tires with costco warranty. Recent tune up, new plugs, wires, cap, rotor, fuel filter, new fuel pump, new rubber fuel lines. The only mechanical issues I'm aware of is a hissing vacuum line and a leak in the heater core hose on the inside of the van. So no overheating, No knocks, No smoking. Everything works and the A/C runs but it will need a lot of refrigerant because it's a large system. The van has all of it's moldings and the body is very straight. Body is very solid and original. but there is some rust blisters in the common places along the bottom of the doors. It was undercoated but the undercoating is starting to flake off and expose some surface rust on the frame but the frame is solid. The interior is in great condition and very clean. Everything is all original from the factory. Has been kept well and lived an accident free life. Has its original spare tire and jack. Overall just an awesome van that you just dont see everyday. It may not pass smog in California, it's registered until July 23, and has a clean California title.
