1965 Lincoln Continental

A true barn find from Washington State, non-running, lastregistered in 1983, clear Washington State title with very low miles, 61K milesbelieved to be correct. The engine is not locked up, but one of the spark plugswas stuck and tried to drill it out, but no luck, the drill bit broke, see up closepicture. Very rare vinyl top (in poorshape, but the roof itself is solid), airconditioning and front seat belts. Someof the windows work as do the turn signals and headlights. Recent work includeda fresh oil change, oil filter, air filter, spark plugs, spark plug wires, distributorcap, electronic points, ignition coil, battery, valve cover gaskets, and 4 brand new radial tires. The original carburetor was also just professionallyrebuilt. The exterior has amateur bodywork, body filler and mis-matched touchup paint as seen in the pictures, the interior is in exceptional condition, theseats were just conditioned with horse saddle conditioner, and it still has theoriginal carpeting and original Lincoln floor mats. The original door panels are also in exceptionalcondition. The dash is also in exceptional condition, no warping or cracking. Theoriginal headliner has some repairs and has separated at the seam over the frontseats, may be able to be re-sewn. The inside of the trunk was repaired and inprimer, the trunk is solid with the exception of one small hole. The underside of the front doors are verynice, the rears have a rust hole. Theunder carriage and floor boards are excellent, no signs of rust, damage orrepairs. Both exhaust resonators are rusted,and the rear mufflers were removed. Thedrivers side vent window pin is broken, the window is in place but not secure. There are several parts that were notinstalled yet, such as new fan belts, new rear trunk seal and a used rear lens.Also included is the original jack, a 65 owners manual, 65 color dealerbrochure and shop repair manual.
