This 1967 Shelby Mustang GT500 was sold new in Quebec, Canada, and is said to have returned to the US in 1969.Power comes from a 428ci V8 mated to a four-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential, and the car is finished in white with blue stripes over black upholstery. Equipment includes 15″ Magstar-style wheels, power-assisted steering and front disc brakes, twin Holley four-barrel carburetors, a folding rear bench, a Hurst shifter, a Stewart Warner gauge pod, and a push-button radio.The car was finished from the factory in Wimbledon White (4) and features blue stripes. The car was reportedly repainted in the 1980s and is said to have been refinished again in 2003. Exterior details include front-grille-mounted driving lights, chrome bumpers, a twin scoop hood with hold-down pins, a driver-side mirror, GT500-branded rocker panel stripes, side and quarter panel scoops, a rear spoiler, a special taillight panel, and dual polished exhaust outlets exiting through the rear valance. Five-spoke 15″ Magstar-style wheels wear Shelby center caps and are mounted with 225/70 Goodyear Eagle GT II tires. Braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums, and the car is equipped with power steering. Front bucket seats and a rear folding bench are trimmed in black Decor-style upholstery and are accompanied by a color-coordinated dash pad, door panels, and carpets. Bright trim accents the dash and door panels, and appointments include a heater and defroster, Shelby GT500 dash badging, a Hurst shifter, a push-button radio, and a Carroll Shelby signature located just above the radio. A woodgrain-rimmed steering wheel fronts a 140-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. Additional Stewart Warner auxiliary gauges are mounted in front of the shifter and the five-digit odometer shows 57k miles, less than 1k of which have been added by the selling dealer. True mileage is unknown. The 428ci V8 was factory delivered with two Holley four-barrel carburetors and was factory rated at 355 horsepower and 420 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential.
