I checked vin tags and confirmed all is as it should be but it was an AC car, I was told this was removed in the 80s. The man I bought it from told me it has been in the family for much of its life.
This is a correct, 396 4sp car, correct black on black, black vinyl and black deluxe interior with rare split fold down front seat, fold up rear seat, power anyania, i believe about or over $100k in restoration prior to my purchasing it.
Everything seems to work amazing, even the wiper fluid pumps great, runs down the road as strait as an arrow and stops amazing.
This car should be 100% original but I do believe the suspension and possibly the breaks have been upgraded, the radio is swapped out to a factory looking radeo with USB.
Everything looks new with the exception of 3 small chips, I will send photos of close view, motor paint and air cleaner habe some wear and missing paint plus vin tags says it’s an A/C car but that is totally missing, however everything that this car is you will find on the vin tag shown in my picture of it. I was assured that all numbers match, if you would like to confirm please as for any pics or whatever will help you to confirm this for yourself, the car shows 45k miles but I honestly believe it’s likely much higher however I have no documitation of that. Car is very low geared but I have taken it on sever 200 mile road trips and it’s done amazing on the free way, no issues of any kind just wish it had higher gears, will do 90 but I wouldn’t do that for long as I fear the low gearing is not good for it, I try to keep it at 60 to 70 MPH on freeway.
This a extreamy rare car in incredible condition, first year Camaro, they made very limited big black cars, this has it all, 4sp, black, and all the options.
