Vehicle Details1970 Plymouth Barracuda Gran Coupe Convertible. Original red exterior with white top and interior. 1 of 36 gran coupe convertibles produced in 1970. Very desirable FE5 Rallye Red exterior paint color, Air Conditioning, Power Windows, Power Disk brakes, Power top, White Bucket seats w/ center console, Power Steering, Light Group, Woodgrain Steering Wheel, Fender Turn Signals, AM Radio, 26" radiator. 14" rally wheels. Car was purchased off E-bay in 2002 by an 60 year old guy in Pittsburgh. The plan was to restore the vehicle so it was immediately disassembled and metal work began. Unfortunately 22 years later the restoration never progressed and he passed away. A friend of mine purchased the car from the son and I purchased it from him. The front frame rails were replaced with rust free originals. The floor footwell was also patched but that was the extent of the metal work completed. The cowl vin matches the rear trunk gutter which matches the title vin # which matches the OK title. The sale of the vehicle includes over $9k of AMD sheet metal that's brand new. More sheet metal was purchased than what the car needs but the son informed us he ordered everything just in case it needed it. Fenders, Quarter Panels, Front and Rear valences, Trunk Extensions, Trunk Floor, Rear Floor, Front Floor, Trunk lid, Upper and lower Cowl, Torsion Bar Support (which doesn't need replaced), Inner and outer wheel houses (which it doesn't need), A pillar pieces, Gas tank with sender, and so much more. The rear frame rails are very nice and do not require any attention. The rear tail panel is also very nice in addition to the hood. The original doors are still fully loaded with all the power window regulators and mechanisms. The original 318 & 904 are no longer with the car. I have a 383/727 that could possibly go with the car for the right price. Original K frame with all suspension and brakes, rear 8 1/4 3:55 is still in the car. This car is a great resto-mod candidate. Vehicle is located in Pittsburgh, PA 15044 I am willing to ship the car at the owners expense. Barracuda has no warranty and is being sold as is as a restoration candidate or resto-mod build. Mileage is to be accurate at $64k original miles.
