This Amilcar is a rare project needing little that I have been intending to finish up, but there is a line of other things needing attention and I have run out of room. If a buyer doesn't appear promptly, I will look for storage and get to the car this summer.
The engine is a 1,244cc inline-four rated at 27 HP paired with a three speed manual.
The body has no rust and paint shows nicely.Undercarriage and engine compartment are clean and presentable. The interior, dash, chrome, glass, tires, etc are in nice shape. All gauges work except the clock.Headlights brake lights, blinkers and dash light works.A water pump and electric fan has been added at some point for efficient cooling.Blinkers have been added long ago.
It has a brand new starter that has been manufactured specifically for this engine.Convertible top, frame and side curtains are in presentable condition and are included. The seats have been replaced with black bucket seats, but the (2) original tan leather bench seats come with car.
The major issue in the car is oil in the coolant and a coolant leak. . Other than that, the car drives, shifts, and brakes well. I drove it about a mile one day, and it was absolutely fun. But it has been parked since then. Several sources suggest that the motor is repairable. The British club for Amilcar has parts; the French club for this maker even has had new blocks made. Ultimately, a different motor could be adapted if desired.

This car is in remarkable condition and a major head-turner, but must be As-is, where-is. Clear title, lots of docs. Payment by bank check or transfer or cash. Lowballers and scammers kindly go elsewhere.
