New tires all around. Including front and rear spares. New Brakes front calipers and shoes and rear drum brakes with new shoes and hardware with power steering, power brakes.New upper and lower ball jointsOnboard 12 volt compresso, Rear air bags, loadable and unload-able from inside the cab, air horns.New Vintage Air II unit for air conditioning/heat, defrosters work as wellheated seats, All lights including running lights are LED except the front Directional sRecessed and adjustable in bumper fog lightsLED gauges, and manual gauges as well for temp and oil for redundancy.Bluetooth capable MP3 player with back up camera. Trailer brakes, Class IV hitch. New bench seat in Green Naugahyde with green and black hounds tooth cloth pattern. Shoulder seat belts,1-5/16" thick white oak bed boards, stainless skid strips also continued onto the tailgate.Frame has been beefed with 1/4" plate on the outside of the frame from about center cab to where the frame heads up to the rear wheel wells. Also heavy rectangle tube from side to side where a fifth wheel hitch could mount if desired. This truck is the same length as the 88 GMC C 3500 extended cab long box it is sitting on, just a little wider. Two fuse boxes where the glove box would normally be with all new wiring, most joints soldered and shrink tubed as well as in individual looms to isolate wiring.Cab has been soundproofed up the firewall and back of cab and roof. New 30% green tinted glass, from the Glass Man out of California. New window seals front and back and wing vents
Now for the bad;Drivers door glass has a crack a few inches from the top running front to back. ( an excited kid at a car show grabbed the window to climb up to see inside)drivers door rattles a little at times as it needs an upper door pin. Passenger door handles seems to need a new handle return spring. But both doors close like a new truck door. Both door windows roll up a little harder than I like, but they do work okHead liner does not look as good as I'd likeOriginally had a 454 (hense the 454 emblems on the hoods) but I lost a few cam lobes and it destroyed that motor so went with the 366 Tall deck big block. Which has an extra set of rings and dual thermostats for redundancy.I spent almost two years building this truck, I built it the way I would want it to be if I was going to keep it.It's not a trailer queen, it was built to be used and enjoyed. Paint can be easily touched up with Satin Black or a certain tint of green. Without costing an arm and leg. This truck will last someone many years, buy it and put your finishing touches to make it yours. Buyer will get a jump drive with the complete build of photos of this truck being built.
