This is a great little custom hot rod. It has all the great aspects of a 1930s hot rod, without all the headaches. The car is built on a 1988 Jimmy chassis with the doors, windshield, firewall and frame. Power comes from a 4.3 Chevy V6 with a 700R4 transmission. The front hood section and the rear tail section are made from high grade molded fiberglass. There is a removal hard top that has been ribbed to look like a convertible top. It is attached with screws in the front and rear. All the modern equipment that came in the Jimmy is still there with all the controls. The cruise control, heating and stereo system work great, with a massive sub woofer behind the passenger seat to ensure clear sound even when the top is down. The AC need to be recharger, but is there is you need it. Overall the car is in good shape. There is a scuff on the drivers door that looks like it came from someone in a parking lot opening their door too close. It has buffed out pretty well, but can be noticed up close. Overall the paint is in good shape. The tires have about 5000 miles on them and the disc brakes in the front where replaced about 3000 miles ago. The car is a blast to drive and a real head turned.
