you are bidding on a 1936 Hudson two door sedan that I bought two years ago I have not done any thing with this car at all I have not even driven this car what you are about to read is the description that was used by the person I got the car from so here we go. Let me start off by saying that I am listing this car for a good friend of mine.I have known him and of this car for 25 years. I will be able to answer any questions you have on the car, r can give you the owners phone number if you would like to speak to him about the car. The car was purchased April 3 1976, n AZ at the Classic Car Auctions of America. The Hudson was then moved up to Idaho, here it has remained to this day .The owner of this car has been a long time collector of Hudson cars, nd over the past couple of years has been selling cars to reduce the size of his collection. This is the firsttime this car has been up for sale, or over 35 years. The car is a 1936 Hudson Deluxe 2 Door Brougham, ith 36550 original miles. Most of the paint on the car is the original paint from the factory, ith just the fenders being resprayed. The paint is showing its age, ith chips, cratches and checking of the old paint. The body is in very good condition with only a dent on the drivers side fender above the tire. (see pictures) And a dent on top of the hood. The trunk floor, runk lid, nterior floors, oor sills, oors and running boards are all rust free. Running boards are still covered in the factory rubber mats. All the trim and chrome on the car are original and are in good shape for their age. Chrome pieces show light blistering in the chrome finish. All the glass is in very good shape, ith no chips or scratches. The original interior was removed a few years ago and used as a pattern to have a new interior installed. New headliner, arpet, loor mats and seats all restored to original. The dash still has the factory wood grain on it. And the dash gauges are inmint condition. All dash knobs, orn button and knobs on all interior handles are in mint condition as well. Tires are old, hey work fine for short drives. But if the car is going to be driven long distance they should be replaced. Engine has been detailed and serviced and is in very good running condition .Brakes, ooling system and fuel system has all been gone through. Everything on the car is in working order. From head lights, auges, eater to tail lights. It all works as it should. Overall the car for the most part is a survivor. Having never been taken apart and restored. It offers the new owner a chance to purchase a car that is still very original. First of all the car is not in MN were I live it is in storage at a Hudson club members house in Charleston IL. I bought the car over two years from the owner in Idaho and had Fred a person that moves cars for me bring it to IL for me (if you buy the car and need someone to move it you can reach him at 208-401-5999) I have not done anything to the car and due to some changes in my life I am selling the car .If you have any questions about the car you can call me on my cell phone at 651-315-1337 Tom.
