You are looking / bidding on a 1969 Corvette convertible which is ready to be enjoyed. NOTHING needs repair, fixed, etc. Just buy and drive. - Even the fiber optics work and A/C blows cold. Both tops (soft and matching color hard top) come with the car.
In addition, this is a documented, NUMBER MATCHING car. NOT date correct block and then restamped, but engine, trans and rear end are original to the car. Paint color and trim color are also original colors.
Car had a frame on restoration 5 years ago. Car was in good condition and did not need a full frame off restoration.

Vehicle specifics as follows:

• Corvette convertible - Both tops. Black soft top. Rear window clear, no rips or tears. Convertible top frame is nice, no rust or binding. Hard top - Matching paint color. Both inside and out very nice.
• Paint is original Fathom Green Metallic color. Paint is very nice. Car is very straight and all gaps are even. Bird cage and windshield frame are excellent.
• Frame is in great condition. No rust anywhere.
• The car does need two door ajar switches. Wiring is present and works, just have not go around to doing that.
• Vehicle mileage - 71348
• Tilt - Telescopic column
• Gauges replaced and they all work as they should. Even the clock works. All lights works (except door ajar, see above) Radio works fine.
• Two very small cracks near the headlight corners. About 1/4 inch long. Have not gotten any bigger, but wanted to mention it.
• Top fits great and easy to put up and down. Windshield to front of top alignment is perfect. Noticed a slight gap at the rear corner of the top when up. Not sure if it was from sitting over the winter and might go away when it sits in the sun. Again, just want to mention it.
• All chrome is in great shape, no pits, dings, or scratches.
• Headlights and wiper door works as it should. All vacuum hoses and associated components were replaced.
• All wiring harnesses replaced, so no electrical gremlins.
• All fiber optics work.
• Air Conditioning - All components replaced and system recharged. Blows cold and DOES NOT need top off every season like many older cars do.
• All mode doors work as they should. Defrost, vent, heat, etc. function properly.

Interior specifics as follows:

• New seat covers with foam
• New carpet
• New door panels
• New door sills
• New center console parts

Mechanical specifics as follows:

• Engine - Number matching 427 / 390HP. Engine removed and rebuilt. 500 miles since rebuild.
• New radiator and clutch fan. No over heating issues. Engine runs at temp, even with A/C on.
• New fuel tank and rebuilt carburetor. Starts good. No hot start issues or stalling issues with A/C on.
• Transmission - Number matching 4 speed. New clutch, pressure plate and flywheel resurfaced when engine rebuilt. Shifts fine
• Rear End - Number matching - 3.08 HD - Positraction
• Manual brakes - Work good. Brake lines, calipers, rotors replaced when restoration done.
• Manual steering - Steers good. No pull. Front end tight
• Exhaust is in good condition.
• Tires are red line Radials. So the cars handles real nice. Tires are in great condition. No cracks, etc.
• Clear Michigan title.

If you are looking for a great number matching convertible corvette where all the work as been done for you, this is a great car to consider buying. Being sold by a private owner, not a dealer. Car was restored by the owner to drive and have fun, not resale. But unfortunately a hip replacement is forcing a sale.
