1907 AUTOCAR ROADSTER/RACER
This 1907 Autocar #6775A is one of six pre-production Roadsters built on a touring car chassis. These six autos were sent to
different dealers around the country to be used as demonstrators. They were to be raced to show off the new, ig four cylinder engine
and to showcase how rugged and reliable the Autocar was. This particular car was sent to Boston, A dealer where it was used as a
demonstrator/racer. It was raced at the Readville Racetrack in Readville, A, suburb of Boston.
It is the only one of the six racers known to exist today. It is a beautifully restored automobile.
