This is an all electric car that was built in Sebring, Florida by the Sebring-Vanguard Company. It was built as a commuter vehicle during the energy crisis, and was one of the first production electric cars. It is titled as a car. It is a 48v electric vehicle with brand new batteries. The car is in excellent shape and was restored professionally several years ago - I think the restoration was done by Ev-performance. It has been stored inside. The finish and interior is excellent. The turn signal switch was recently replaced ($200+ for part), but still needs to be fully wired. The brake switch needs replaced and wired. While the advertisements for the vehicle claim up to 40 mph, I've had this one to 34mph, but I'm a big guy so a smaller person may make that 40mph threshold. The headlight switch has also been replaced. There were only about 2500 of these ever built and reportedly only about 600 in this year. I have too many toys. Local Pick-up Only.
