1928 Other Makes 610

For sale is a 1928 Graham Paige 610 4 door sedan. I am the third owner. The gentleman I purchased it from in 2010 was 77 years old and had owned it for 62 years. He got it from his father who bought it new in 1928. The original spare tire cover placed on the vehicle when new by the dealer is still on the car. The exterior was painted a red color in 1949. Original exterior colors were dark blue and black.
All the wood is original to the car and completely solid. The car still has the original top and the glass is in excellent condition. The Graham runs very well and the motor was rebuilt around 1950. It does smoke a little but I believe it is due to the length of time it didn't run and I haven't ran it great distances due to the brakes. Car hadn't run in 34 years when I bought it and it started right up after some preparatory work. Clutch and rear end are in excellent condition. Suspension has been greased regularly.
Car has always be stored inside and shows that by its very good original condition. When I bought the car it had been on jack stands for 17 years. The license plates you see on the car came with it when I purchased it. Windows are difficult to roll up or down due to the tightness from non use.
The interior is original to the car and in good overall condition. The original floor mat, ooden sub-flooring, nd carpet on the floor in the rear is still in the car. All the chrome is original to the car and in excellent condition. The front bumper is off a 1948 Ford and was placed on the car when the owner broke the front bumper around 1950.
The VIN number of the Graham Paige is consistent with the early 1929 610 models as I was informed by the Graham Owners Club. The car has always been registered as a 1928. The second owner put in a radio, eater and fog lights on the car in the late 1940s.
Brakes are hydraulic and need some repair. I have new lining and hoses for the brakes. All the lights work as does the horn. This is a wonderful car to drive in it's current condition or would be an extremely easy restoration to complete.
