The car has been in our family since 1999.It has been driven in the summers and stored the rest of the time under a cover in a garage. It has been serviced and maintained as required with no major repairs.Interior is in good condition, looks like original upholstery under clear plastic seat covers.Exterior is in good condition.I am sure the car has had work done over the years, but my thinking is that it’s a survivor and has never been restored. The car starts, runs and drives like a typical 1950’s car.Overall it’s a nice car that represents its age very well, but not perfect.
Items that need attention –
RH Fog light in not working – Back-Up lights not working – Horn not working – Temp gauge not working – Radio not working – Clock not working – RH front door latch does not always latch properly – Rear Bumper Guard has some bad spots in the chrome – Tires have good tread, but are and weather checked – at some point in time someone installed bolts that were too long in the trunk lid hinge and made some bumps in the lid – no glove box
We did replace the rear shocks with air shocks.
I would suggest that serious buyers come and inspect the car and go for a ride.
