1959 Other Makes Minor Traveller

Chequered Flag International is pleased to offer this 1959 Morris MinorTraveller in Tan with Red leather interior. Restored some 20 years ago by a famous Morris Minor maven who modified it mechanically with a 1275 Midget engine and gearbox disc brakes and wire wheels. This is a popular and easy conversion that was done when Midgets were plentiful and cheap. He also restored the car replacingall the wood and customizing the interior with additional wood panels and roof pieces that give it an old American Woodie look - all very professionally done. The seats have more recently been redone in leather and the interior is superb. The body is straight and rust free and the paint is very nice. The last owner of 20 odd years lived in Southern California and used the car very sparingly putting on less than a couple of thousand miles. He serviced it regularly and just put new carbs on. It has always been garaged. You couldn't build it for the asking price.
The one item I would address is updating the flashers - its still running on the old semaphores that pop up on the side and really needs modern flashers installed.
It's a lot of fun gets lots of attention and is an affordable classic to start or add to a collection. Inspections encouraged. All sales AS-IS. Sales tax and lic fees due if delivered in California.
