What I have here is my Custom built RAT ROD. This does not have title as it was built ground up and is ready to be VIN checked and titled in whichever state you live in.
This is a 1946 Dodge 1/2 ton Pickup cab, n a 1980 Toyota 2wd frame with a 2.3 Liter 4 Cylinder Pony Stock motor out of a Ford Ranger converted to carb from EFI. The motor was rebuilt bottom to top before install and has about 250 miles on it. Custom exhaust, ustom interior with stitch weldedtransmissiontunnel and aluminum and copper rivets throughout.
Runs great, uilt to run on premium fuel and has a 17 Gal tank under rear bed.
Running a 5 speed manual transmission with custom shifter built with sockets andantiquepipe wrench.
Antique wrenches were used to mount the radiator, eadlights and are also used for the clutch, rake and gas pedal. I have some Model T headlights that will be included as the current headlights have a vibration due to being mounted with wrenches.
Fully wired with 20 circuit fuse box. Just need to wire everything in as you continue the build. Right now it is all for show and wastrailer-ed, ut with a fewgaugesand a little more work, his could be a weekend cruiser. Headlights,taillights, uel pump, ome light, nd all ignition is wired in and it is pre-wired for anything else you want from a heater or a/c, adio and more.
Can drive just fine at the moment although it was eventually planned to have air bags so the ride is a bit rough as it is lowered for proper stance.
These are true 22" Dayton 180 Spoke Knock Off Wheels as well with good tread
I am serious about selling this and I have over 6k just in parts and fabrication into the Rat Rod.
TheToyotaframe was used as it is a solid built frame and so when repairs are needed, ost parts will be available at any local parts store.The trailer or the cab do no have a VIN and I can register the vehicle, ut figured I could offer a little better price as it may be easier to register a custom build in your state.
