I am very pleased to offer what surely is the most accurate and authentic 1927 Bugatti T-35 ever constructed on a Volkswagen Chassis. This all aluminum,hand fabricated to exact Bugatti exterior design specifications was entirely hand built about 30 years ago by a Bugatti enthusiast and master fabricator on a 1966 Volkswagen chassis which took fours years to build. The car is appointed with a pair of authentic Brooklands Racing Wind Screens with period correct brass hand-adjustable thumb with more that 300 hand punched "breathing louvers" over the entire roadster and hand hammered rivets (like the original) and not easily discernible as a construction "after" the very desirable, conic $2.3 million Bugatti T-35 racer.
Now, f course there are fiberglass Bugatti replicas available for under $15K but these cars are not even nearly approaching the aesthetic "authenticity" level of the car that I am offering here. The car is painted in Bugatti blue and the exterior is in excellent condition with absolutely no issues featuring an all aluminum interior with a 4 speed manual transmission that operates as it should. And I must mention that the original builder went to great lengths to disguise the "whiny" sound of the Volkswagen motor and has added an extra few feet of pipe to the exhaust to give it an incredible, hroaty early race car rumble as it sounds like a pair of Harley's coming down the street.
The car is an unusualright hand drive exactly as the real Bugatti's were in 1927(which doesn't take more than a few hours to get used to shifting with the other hand)and looks as authentic as any Bugatti replicaever constructed for under $30,000. This magnificent racer is a solid investment at $19,900 and there are many buyers in the market for an all metal body early Bugatti construction with reliable, pdated running gear. Brake systems has been completely gone through by "BRAKE MASTERS" in Las Vegas, evada and $400 in receipts for upgrades, s the car was recently in an exotic car show on the west coast.
