This car handles as great as it looks!
It took the "Most Unusual Car" Award at the 2015 N. Lake Shore Drive 100 MPH Club car show. We were sosurprised. Onlyparticipants of this member only show could vote. The Puma out classed an originalFerrari, one of a kind hand built Ferrari, super rare Shelby Cobrasurvivor, n original Sunbeam Tiger survivor, ust too many to bore you with here...The Puma GT was also invited to the Elkhart Lake Vintage Festival "Gather on the Green" Concours DeEleganceduring the 2015 Road America Vintage Racing event. The draws allot of interest!
We have really enjoyed owning the car.
This beautiful car was built in Brazil and imported as a Kit Car to avoid Federal Safety Standards. The odometer reads 99,770 kilometers.That would be approximately 60,000 miles on the car and far less on the engine.The peppy 1835 c.c. VW 4 cylinder engine feels just right in the light weightFiberglasbody. A previous owner installed thePorsche cooling fan shroud, O40 Heads, oller rocker arms, etronicspointlessignition system,and tinted windows. The exhaust flows through Monza pipes. We installed new shifter bushings and a "quick Shifter" kit(what adifference!) The Volkswagen Type 3 chassispresumablyfrom a Karmin Ghia features front disc brakes, way bars and floor pan.
We have fully serviced this little hot rod for your driving pleasure.It has a couple hundred miles on the New Wheels and Tires,Synthetic engine oil and transmission fluid, resh engine tune up, djusted valves, lus balanced and tuned Dual Weber Carbs.
The brakes are adjusted. The parking brake works as it should. Steering is tight. Wipers wipe. Windows go up and down. Hood and engine latches work. Door locks lock. Stereo plays. Fan blows. Seats recline. Seat belts latch.
The body is in very nice shape showing minor wear for it's age. There has been paint brush touched to keep the car looking nice. The chrome is in very nice shape for it's age.
