1949 Diamond T 306Amazing Rare barn find. I acquired this truck from a gentleman that babied this truck for yrs! It was his prize possession! The truck was serviced from bumper to bumper in 2005, nd drove up until around 2012 when Health issues required the truck to be put away. I've bought the truck with intentions of building a Street Rod but can't bring myself to cut it up. The truck is 99.9 % org with having a paint job on the ext of the cab around 2000. Totally rust free body and chassis, o rust issues at all. Still has the org diamond t floor mat that is in great shape, ith just a few cracks. All the org glass lenses on the turn, learance, nd stop lights are all perfect with no chips or fading. I have drained the fuel tank and flushed with clean fuel. I have bought a new battery (6volt) and spun the engine over and poured gas in carb, ngine fired on first try. Oil pressure @ 45 lbs at idle. Starter seemed slow to me but I've never delt with a 6volt system so not if it's dragging or not. It's had new plug wires, oses, elts ect added in the past and still look to be in good shape. Truck is not road worthy due to tires and brakes. Front tires need replacing, ears are ok. Brakes are not stuck, ust need bleeding out. Please fill free to contact me with any info or pics needed.
