This is a 1973 Opel GT that has been in my family since it was originally purchased back in 1973 by my grandfather. In 2005 my father and I fully restored the car. There was no major damages or anything it was just normal wear and tear of a car that was driven since 1973, the car has been garage kept since 1990 when it was given to my father by my grandfather. We had a few rough spots and the Chrome was dull and pitted but we had all of the body work done and the vehicle has been painted using a Mazda Orange with a mother of pearl coat so it really shines nice in the Sun. All of the Chrome on the entire car has been redone as well looks brand new, a real showroom finish. Restoration pics are available. The car was mechanically maintained by my father from the original purchase as he was a mechanic for over 40 plus years. The drive shaft was replaced during the restoration and the transmission was fully rebuilt and resealed.

The interior has had a few modifications the original seats were replaced with Mazda Miata seats and the upholstery has all been redone in the vehicle as well as the roof liner as well as all rugs and mats. All rubber seals on doors and windows have been replaced and are new, no cracks or dryness. The original radio has been replaced as well. All gauges work. The gas gauge does bounce a little but does show the correct amount of fuel. Engine is in great shape and clean. All gaskets have been replaced there are no leaks, regular maintenance has been performed since its original purchase by my father.

The original rims have been replaced with 100 spoke true knockoffs. However I do have the original rims with new tires available and included which have also been repainted and restored. I also have the original manual, service manual, Chilton service manual as well as a few other guides and books. which I will also include.
