Up for auction is an extremely rare 1969 Opel GT. What make this Opel so special is that it is one of the very few built with the 1.1L engine and dual carb. set up from the factory. According to most articles there were just a handful Opel GT'S equipped with the1.1 L dual carb. engine.Some articles have it that the 1.1L was notavailable in the USA. Then some articles have it that a very small number was shipped to the USA.Either way there are very few around.
Check out the super clean interior. From the carpet to the headliner it is in exceptional condition. The body is in great shape. The belly pan (battery area) is in great shape with no signs of rust.
