1940 Oldsmobile Custom Cruiser
Re-listed due to non-paying bidder.
This 1940 Oldsmobile Series 60 Convertible was given a frame off, back to the metal rebuild about 25 years ago (completely taken apart). It has no rust or accidents. The car was almost finished but then sat in my fathers garage undriven for 25 years (I mean ZERO miles). It’s present condition is physically excellent but it needs completely going through again to make it drivable (fuel, brakes, battery, new plug wires etc). There is nothing major needs doing, just lots of detailing and the sort of stuff that you’d expect for a car that hasn’t been used in a long long time. I have lots of parts (8 milk crates of them) for it that are not shown in the pictures. Included are Wheel trim rings, hub caps, full convertible hood frame & bow (including rear window), assorted original hardware etc... Plus, my father collected 'spares' whenever he found them so there is extra stuff included as well..The only convertible examples of these I have seen sold for between $50-60K (in excellent restored condition)… If you are interested feel free to ask questions, but really it needs to be seen in person...
