66 Oldsmobile 442 W-30 Track Pak Vin: 338076M255682 Up for sale is my 66 olds 442 W-30 track pack car in the 2-door post sport coupe version. The car is black with white bucket seat interior. It is a very tight solid dependable fast car that retains all its original sheet metal. The car is genuinely nice and has always been that way, the car was a featured car in the magazine Muscle Car Review. The car was “restified” by Don Hendricks from Minnesota who bought the car from his brother who bought it new. It was redone with NOS trim, bumper, taillights, etc. The track- Pak package was accessed from Curt Anderson, the long standing 66 – 7 advisors for the Olds Club of America. The car shows 78,000 actual miles at the present time. It has a good selection of options that consist of, reclining bucket seats with headrests, non- console close ratio 4- speed trans, TM code 3.90 posi rear end. , Tri-power with ram air, trunk mounted battery, power steering and push button AM radio with reverb- a -sonic. The interior is completely stock except for the carpet. The brake system was converted to a dual master cylinder set up. Don decided he wanted a little more fun out of his hobby, so he built up a 70 455 at Total Engine Service in Bloomington MN that dynoed out at 440 horsepower, at the same time he installed a Super T-10 transmission. This was done so he would not harm the original drive trai, which I have and goes with the deal I had the original 400 E block motor rebuilt with a new W-30 spec. camshaft and lifters from Supercars Specialties. My machine shop said that motor still looked new so it was honed with new rings, polished the crank, put in new bearings and we sealed it up. The deal also includes the original M-21 close ratio 4- speed, bell housing and NOS clutch fork that is original to the car. Look at the pictures and you will see the time slips and protecto- plate the best E.T. is a 13.02 at 108 mph. I have put about 7,000 miles on this car in the last five years and it has not missed a beat. It is a great car. The wheels are American TTOs, 15x8.5 and 15x7 with BFG 255-60-15 and 225-70-15. If you do not want the original drive train, I will sell it for a lesser price. contact me for any further questions.
