Vehicle DetailsUp for sale is this beautifully kept 1972 cutlass "S" with a modified rocket 455 cu. in. coupled to a turbo 400, 3 speed automatic trasmission, complete rebuilt with HD clutching. The car has been modified to increase the standard horsepower from a stock 270 HP to an estimated 300+ HP somewhere in that range. All reconditioned to like new condition. The car body has only about 43,000 miles but due to age all rubber has been replaced along with all new chrome including door handles. Doors close like new with a very solid closing sound. All new upholstery along with carpeting and door panels front and rear. The engine was built to be run in a dirt track racer but was never installed. It is equipped with an edelbrock 650 CFM carb along with an edelbrock intake manifold. The car also has ceramic coated headers, along with electronic ignition. It runs and drives with plenty of street power never needing all that it puts out. Pypes dual exhaust pipes and mufflers with a 2 1/2" complete roaring sound when you want it. Under the dash it has temp and oil guages with a custom auto sound 4 speaker stereo system. When I built the car I went chrome crazy and pretty much did everything under the hood. I have way more in it than the asking price. You will not be disappointed. With the high cost of restoration parts today, this car could never be built for the asking price.
