This Toronado is different. The original owner took a perfectly fine 1966 car and made it better.
Tornadoes were the first American car since the Cord with front wheel drive. Oldsmobile designed a totally new car. That design has passed the test of time and today the 1966 and '67 are collector cars.
The prior owner made changes that updated and improved the car. Here are a few of the changes:
• Headlights behind the new grill• Rear lights behind new tail stats• Louvered hood• Shaved door handles• Custom wheels and new tires• Leather interior with redesigned seats, dash and headliner• Unique tilt and telescoped steering wheel• Adjustable rear air shocks and new front shocks
With these changes the car was painted a striking Black Cherry. The drive train is smooth and powerful. Todays pictures are how the car really looks. It commands a lot of street attention.
