1956 Oldsmobile Eighty-Eight 2 door hardtop

1956 Oldsmobile Rocket 88 2 door hardtop comes equipped with its original 324 c.i engine and Automatic hydro-matic transmission. The car runs and drives very well. The motor was gone through in 2016 the carburetor was also rebuilt, The mechanics of the car have been completely gone through, recent repairs include. All new brakes including wheels cylinders and shoes and brake lines. The fuel tank is brand new which was approx $800 dollars from Ecklers Automotive. The radiator was clean and serviced. The top end of the motor was also rebuilt. New plugs, wires, hoses distributor cap. Overall the car runs very well. the car was being prepared for paint the body on the car is in good shape and is rust free. There is minor surface rust areas where the car was sanded a few years ago, but not primed. You will not find too many of these cars with such a beautiful dry undercarriage like this one. The chrome and stainless on the car are both in good shape and complete. The car spent most of its life in the Colorado new Mexico area. The interior is also complete the dash and gauges are all in good shape. The seats have a few rips, but i am sure whoever restores the car will replace them as well.
