About this vehicleThis 1964 Jetstar is original as the day it was built. The car was regularly driven up until 1982. The engine had catastrophic failure and was removed for a rebuild. It was professionally rebuilt, BUT, it sat for 30 years now its not shot bu, a mouse condo moved into the lifter valley in the rear section. I removed it and inspected the rest. It still has the break in compound on the camshaft. The pistons and cylinder walls are all perfectly preserved as well as the cylinder heads all surprisingly clean. It has the SLIM JIM transmission but I don’t know it’s conditionI put everything back together to make it complete. If you have the skill to do some metal work its a great cruiser when doneI rescued this car and would like to see someone bring it back rather than strip it for parts. The car has all papers with it that I got with it.
