1968 Oldsmobile Cutlass Cutlass S

This 1968 Cutlass S started out as a rust free, clean California car. It was tubbed and a roll bar setup was installed. Paint is a blue pearl that flips to a lavender color with dark purple accents on the hood and along the rockers. When looking at the photos you can notice going around the car the rear fenders look blue and you can see the flip purplish color on the trunk. It's hard to photo the paint like this, but It is in perfect flawless condition with only two small touch up dots on the passenger front fender (see photos) from the hood fitting years ago.
This car was built maybe 10-12 years ago, driven around for awhile here and there and was parked in a garage. The owner moved out of state and left it stored in his old garage. When the house sold the car was purchased and gone over with a tune up and some minor issues tightened up. It's been run maybe 100 miles since. It should be an easy clean and detail underneath from sitting in the garage. There's some surface rust on the floor and exhaust.
The hood is not shown closed due to incorrect hinges, ordered again from Summit and should be on the car this week.
The interior was covered in black and purple tweed with custom design and embroidery, 2 tone dash, seats, door panels and rear deck around the roller. It has a floor shifter as shown. It has an aluminum steering column (a little play from side to side and a nice tach in the dash. The steering wheel rubber has wear on it, a new one or wrap would be better. The dash needs some details, there's a hole for the radio, but needs some brackets to install. The glove box door needs hinged and the latch. It is just pushed in there.
The factory center console (not in car) was also tweed covered to match and is included with the factory floor shifter (see Photos).
The rear was steel tubbed with a 9", Centerline wheels, Mickey Thompson Tires and a fuel cell added to the trunk. I don't know the gear ratio, but it feels perfect for the car. Does nice burn outs and runs good on the freeway.
The motor and transmission were totally redone with the best of parts. It fires right up, idles perfect, drives great. It will drive anywhere. 51,550 miles showing on the dash. Relisted lowered price.

It comes with a pile of receipts, I added some to the photos. I think the business card in the windshield is who did the paint and interior, maybe all of it besides the 455 motor/ Turbo 400 trans, but I'm not sure, it was there on the dash since found. The cowl tag has very thick paint, I didn't want to ruin it, since the car is not numbers matching. Clear Ohio title, ready to go.
It is missing one front headlight trim, there is no windshield wiper, linkage or arms. The side mirrors need to be installed, they are seen in the trunk. There is the factory antennae hole in the front fender.
The front drum brakes are still on the car. It stops fine, like drums, but you probably want to finish the car up with good discs. Otherwise, it's a cool car waiting for a new owner to drive and show it off.
