One quick way to tell the difference between a 350 V8 and a 455 V8 version is by looking at the front fenders of the '74 for a 350 it has the Cutlass script and for the 455 there are "W-30" decals in place of the Cutlass script.
This mostly original W30 455 is mostly original with some modifications, this specific car is equipped with the Hurst/Olds appearance package embossed with special paint schemes & pin striping, all original paint, and special H/O regalia and the street lethal asphalt shredding high performance 455 cubic inch "Rocket" engine pushing an effective 230 horsepower and the turbo 400 hydra-matic transmission with the Hurst Dual-Gate Shifter.

Available in either white or as this example, Black, the Hurst Olds sports the optional swiveling black vinyl bucket seats. A special vinyl top also denoted this specialness of this model giving the appearance of a "targa" style roof.
